My name is Colby, and I started a business to help pay for college by selling vegetable plants that I grew from our house in Marlborough. This is my second year - last year I ended up selling a couple thousand plants!
With the help of people who bought plants, I was able to help pay for my school costs and I took a portion and reinvested it into my business.
This year I’ve grown over 60 varieties of seedlings, I’ve grown them in bigger and deeper pots (for awesome root development), built an amazing grow-house and greenhouse, and my plants continue to be significantly healthier and more mature than the mass-produced plants you’d get at Home Depot, Lowes, or Walmart!

We've done a bunch of research on how much vegetable seedlings cost and the prices vary widely. We are not a massive nursery or commercial grower so it costs us more to grow our seedlings in both time and materials. At the same time we didn't want to price our plants higher than those commercial nurseries and we knew that our prices were going to be slightly higher than the Home Depots and Lowes. So we landed on a flat rate of $7.50 per individual plant. But, we offer significant discounts when your order totals $50, $100, $150 or more.

Garden Easy LLC was started in Marlborough MA in February 2020 and we are now in our third year! The idea for our business came right around when the Coronavirus Pandemic hit. Since many people were picking up gardening due to the time they were spending at home, we thought that giving gardens a great boost of healthy seedlings would be a helpful thing to do.
