This is a newer variety of the Cayenne pepper. Ring of Fire pepper plants produce higher yields and reach maturity at an earlier age than other cayeene varieties.
The Ring of Fire Cayenne pepper is a small tapered pepper that ripens from dark green and gets hotter and more flavorful as they turn bright red but can be enjoyed in both stages. Growing to 4 inches long, this pepper is common for hot sauces, and as a dried format to be used for chili powder or chili flakes.
